While living in Europe I loved buying flowers. I could spend hours on end in flower shops (more like flower boutiques) choosing the “right” type of flower for the week ahead. It was a hobby, a passion, a weekly ritual. Now, I live in the Caribbean, were unfortunately buying flowers is even more expensive than the gorgeous boutiques I would visit i n Europe, in addition they lose their glow just a little sooner, making it quite a task to enjoy them. So I have turned to the next best option; growing them. Not in large quantities of course, but nicely arranged around my patio in beautiful ceramic pots. Seeing this photo, I have the inspiration to add some simple green plants and palms to my collection.
