happy friday

Loving these images

They often say 'time flies when you are having fun', well based on that I am probably having a blast.
Usually the days seem to pass by this quickly when I am on vacation. Which is great considering how wonderful all these days are. (Less great of course that they fly by.....some times you just want to stand still a little longer and savour the moments). So I will try to do a little more of that this weekend, no running around (even for all fun and exciting stuff) but just enjoying each moment.

Have an exquisite weekend.
Smile loads.
xx

a rock star moment

I am an absolutely terrible singer (I am not being modest here....it is surprising the windows of my car are still in tact). But I love to "sing" at the top of my lungs in the car (karaoke type singing) (of course only when I am alone in the car). It's just such a great feeling. In addition to that I am sure I bring a smile to many faces (those who pass me by and can't help but laugh at the insane sight of me being a rock star for a brief moment in time).

"A smile costs nothing but gives much.  It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give.  It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it.  Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.  Some people are too tired to give you a smile.  Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give"  -Author Unknown-

sunday

It is always interesting to see how a day progresses very differently than you had previously anticipated. On this dark, cloudy Sunday, with the winds turned and the roads still damp, there were a few small surprises that made for quite an interesting day. There was of course loads of food, a talked-about nap, a funny little turquoise book, a touch of sheer and many laughs.
