Loving the colors of the dress.

“To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.”
-Bill Bryson-

I feel as if the week has flown by.
Need to take a step back and relax a bit.
Have an amazing weekend.
Smile loads.

dreaming away

I am in an absolute mood to indulge myself in the world of travel. Last night I spent most of the evening reading through Lonely Planet's Discover Thailand. (travel books have a way of transporting you for just a tiny moment to a different world..... absolutely wonderful).
And thus, instead of leaving the island tonight (yep a private yet would come in handy), I will continue to read my books and look at dreamy images of faraway destinations.

Have a splendid day.
Dream away.

Have a beautiful week.
Enjoy every second.

touch of glamour

Photography by Alexi Lubomirski

In Paris.

Ah, just imagine, disembarking on the banks of the Seine to head to dinner on a warm fall evening while the sun is still shining lightly on the outskirts of Paris.

Paris always brings back wonderful memories of weekends with the girls, lunches at the hotel Costes, 6am tea on the balcony overlooking the Champs Elysee, dancing in the Ritz hallways with Percy, amazing dinners at Pompidou with Las Guapas, parties near the Arc d' Triomphe and perhaps one of the best.....driving to Paris and getting stuck on the Belgium highway for hours. This all, combined with the ever so-lovely macarroon treats at Laduree.

Paris! The mere mention of it brings glamour to your day.
