Mikasa is located on the edge of Marina Botafoch, right by the yachts, a little down from the cruise and cargo terminal and across the water from Dalt Villa - the view is magnificent, the energy is ever-present and the terrace is secluded enough to remind you of the serenity that Ibiza always offers. Mikasa; my home for the week.

On Mother’s Day - a poem by Maya Angelou. Phenomenal Woman.

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.

I walk into a room

As the earth turns away from the sun, and paints the sky with its goodbye, it brings us comfort that the nights will be glowing with the stars and soon a new day shall start again. I fall in love with these moments. These memories, forever engrained in my mind.

There is something magical seeing the sunset and rise on the other side of the earth.
