After a few days in the big city it is nice to be back home again. The skies are a curious mix of blue and gray this morning, with a hint of a rainbow behind the clouds. December in Curacao is usually marked by some rain, and as we flew over the island on Saturday we enjoyed the green hills and deep blue ocean. This morning the rain made for beautiful sky on my way to work.

In NYC we "discovered" the Marimekko shop. It was quite a surprise to find it there and naturally we could not leave without some additions to our home collection. For the office I bought the teapot and cups below. It looks perfect on my desk. The design looks a bit like the sky this morning.
