“And here we are in Dubai, savouring teppanyaki at a restaurant called Tokyo, listening to intense sounds of ‘like a virgin’ by Madonna sang by the karaoke group in the next room. Another exceptional evening”

Japanese cuisine is probably one of our favourites and so we headed to Toyko@emirates towers one evening. To start with you are wow-ed by the entrance of the hotel and then the impeccable design continues throughout your walk towards the restaurant.

We choose the Teppanyaki table for the evening (reservations recommended) and savoured a delicious and entertaining meal. Our chef truly made a show out of it.

The service was great as can be expected. Each menu choice comes with miso soup, white rice and grilled veggies. Try the tenderloin, it is divine. Finish with a nice Yasmin tea and then head to the karaoke lounge a few steps away.

Before ending this evening we took the elevators up to Alta Badia Bar on the 51st floor.
