matbaren

On our last evening in Stockholm we had dinner at Mathias Dahlgren's Food Bar.  I've done a post on this before, but thought I'd share a few more photographs. I suppose it left more of an impression than I thought it would. When you are visiting Stockholm make sure to take an evening for this culinary experience.

"The Food Bar is a modern bistro. Our cuisine is based on using the best fresh produce available here and now in Sweden and other parts of the world, spiced with curiosity and inspiration from everything we encounter.

The Food Bar offers a selection of medium-sized dishes. Enjoy one or several, in whatever order you like, depending on your appetite and mood. We are happy to recommend wine, beer or other beverages that we think are a good match to your food.

All the producers we work with are meticulously selected, they produce something we like. Our menus and drink offering – like the fresh produce – are living and change with the time of the year" - the food bar Mathias Dahlgren-

happy friday

“In order to lead a fascinating life – one brimming with art, music, intrigue and romance – you must surround yourself with precisely those things.”

All these great images are via Kinfolk. Check out their website (I even subscribed to their magazine, looking forward to receiving the first issue) .

They have such serene images which are food related and then there are the nature shots, where you almost feel part of the photograph. Splendid.
