If there is one thing I love about my life is the diversity of work, jobs and careers I have - all at the same time. From financial services and blockchain to education and female entrepreneurship to being a board member of a foundation for motorsports. The latter brings me to the historic track of Sebring in Florida this week for the FIA WEC 1000 Miles of Sebring.
There is always an incredible amount of energy at a race. At an endurance race however this seems to multiply exponentially. The anticipation, the planning, the coordination, the chemistry between race drivers, crew, photographers and marshals - all intense, all friendly, all respectful.
The Media Center in Sebring is nothing like those of Le Mans, Shanghai or Fuji - but the energy of the crowd is remarkable here - and this is just the day of testing.
Looking forward to see how Racing Team Nederland will perform, BMW Team MTEK is on my radar and of course Dempsey-Proton Racing.
